Bridge Challenge
Members were given 5 minutes to brainstorm a bridge design and 10 minutes to bring it to life with materials from their homes! Check out some of the designs they came up with.
Toy Car Challenge
Members were given another 5 minutes to brainstorm a design for toy cars and 25 minutes to assemble it with materials from their homes. Check out their designs!
Building Building Skills!
In this activity, our members built their building skills by building various items. They learned to consider what problems a design needs to solve and how to put together parts to make something that can function. They learned how to work with the resources that were available to them and accomplish a goal even with their limitations.

If you missed this meeting, feel free to try out these challenges yourself! Think about what the purpose of a bridge/car is and build something that can accomplish that with materials from around your home.
