Week 20: Wiring and Mounting
Overview of Activity:
We started with mounting the SG90 servo and the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor onto our robots. Later, we taped the motor wires to the motor to prevent them from coming off the solder, and reviewed previous wiring to better prepare for future activities.
Mounting Servo & Sensor
Members attached the servo and sensor onto their robot in preparation for future meetings where they will be exploring and coding these parts. We recommend taping the servo and sensor to the robot, as the alternative way would lead to possible loss of nut.

Wiring Servo
To wire the servo onto the Arduino uno, pass the servo wire through the holes on the board and connect the brown wire onto G row, red wire onto V row, and orange wire onto S row. The pin number doesn't matter.
Taping Stuff & Organize Wires
Members taped the motor wires to prevent them from disconnecting (see left). Members then organized their wires to ensure everything is connected well for future activities.
