Week 9: Halloween Spook Meeting

Overview of Activity

Today, we had a spoopy meeting with Halloween-themed activities! We had 3 rooms for a CAD activity, a programming activity, and a new member activity.

Spook CAD Challenges

Members who chose this activity participated in CADing some unique Halloween designs. There were 4 challenges that they had to face, which were to CAD a Tombstone, Skull, Pumpkin, and Anything-Halloween-Related. Each members were given 20 minutes to work each of the challenges. There were many designs that came out fantastic, and it showed how well the members utilized and refined their CAD skills!

The CADing of 『Barry Jazz』

Members who chose this activity were tasked with the CADing of a robot with the theme of spoopy. Instead, they decided to create this lovecraftian beast, given the name『Barry Jazz』and arguably both better and more horrifying than any spoopy robot could be.

Programming A Jack o' Lantern

Members who chose this activity designed a lantern using paper or cardboard, and programmed the LED light to shine certain colors through the lantern.
